COVID-19 Update and OSA Office Hours

The Office of Student Affairs (OSA) provides support and opportunities for all engineering students on a wide variety of topics including career services, advising, student organization policies, mental health, scholarships, tutoring, admissions, transfers, and much more. We encourage you to check out this website to view all the different resources available to you. Review this article to learn more about some of the ways we are supporting our students.

The Office of Student Affairs will operate in-person and virtually for your continued support.  Please feel free to continue connecting with us via phone or through email.  You can send questions to coe-studentaffairs@umich.edu. We are also happy to set up virtual individual appointments- just email us to request one or see our available office hours below.  Visit our Michigan Engineering COVID-19 website for a list of student and learning resources.  For Fall 2020, our offices will be open starting August 24, 2020, M-F, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. EDT, for in-person services.

One such resource we have is Studentvote.org. This website is a one-stop online resource for students facing questions about voting in the midst of COVID-19. Students are able to fill out a registration form online and get all the relevant information you need beyond simply registering to vote– knowing what’s on the ballot, what form of ID you may need, how you can vote absentee, and answers to other frequently asked questions. Watch this quick video to get step by step instructions on how to register and more useful information about volunteer/ internship opportunities.
